1. The image of four metals lays the foundation for all the prophecies in the Book of Daniel. page 24
2. To reject the prophecies in the book of Daniel is to reject the Christian religion. For this religion is founded upon his prophecies concerning the Messiah. (Newton believed the seventy weeks prophecy of Daniel chapter 9 proved Jesus was the Christ.) page 24
3. The Gold, Silver, Brass and Iron of the image represent the four Gentile kingdoms Babylon, Persia, Greece and Rome. page 25
4. The Lion, Bear, Leopard and Ten Horned Beasts represent these same four kingdoms in the parallel vision in Chapter 7. page 27
